This project was a second floor addition to a one-story existing ranch, with brick and travertine finished exterior walls. We articulated the front entry with a double story glass atrium. The second floor addition is recessed back from the front in order to preserve the existing horizontal roof lines.

The house conforms to the existing site, and fits well into the surrounding streetscape. The first floor features a large foyer, living room, dining room, and family room adjacent to the kitche, with a breakfast area overlooking the backyard. The master bedroom with master bath, laundry and walk-in closet are located on the first level as well. The second floor houses three bedrooms: two with a shared bath and one with a private bath and a beautiful balcony that overlooks the backyard.
