This house is a Historic Landmark, and is protected by the Newton Historic Commission. Our task was a complete remodeling of the interior as well as the preservation and restoration of certain parts of the exterior. The house is more than 150 years old, and its interior layout did not suit the modern living lifestyle. It also did not take advantage of the beautiful views in the back. We opened the house up to the views on both floors, and created a modern Master Bedroom suite on the second floor with a large balcony off the Master Bedroom.
