House - Beer Sheva, Israel

Yefim Massarsky was introduced to an Israeli professor who was on his sabbatical leave in Boston in 1984. Yefim received the commission to design and build his private residence in Beer Sheva, Israel. The assignment was very different and exciting. Many important aspects were taken into consideration: a very hot and dry climate, breathtaking views of the desert terrain, local construction materials and the local building codes. Yefim went to Israel to supervise the construction, and the house was successfully finished in 1985.
